'BeFe BABYFAIR' is a semiannual exhibition held in Seoul's famous COEX center. It is the oldest and most important fair for baby products in Asia. This year, the exhibition is somewhat smaller than usually as many international manufacturers can't attend due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
But because at Dotrade we are focusing on Korean manufacturers, we visited the opening day as always. It was a great day of networking and exploring.
The industry continues to embrace megatrends such as organic, fair and high quality products. We observed that the existing trend towards sterilization devices for anything from indoor air to baby strollers is further promoted by parents' concerns surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic (you can find the latest air purifiers in our online store).
While bright and saturated colors dominated in the past years, recently soft and pastel colored items such as baby spoons or plates, skin care & food packaging and even baby furniture are becoming more and more popular - it's a trend we really like! For example, the natural and friendly design language and coloring of the new NATURE LOVE MERE products is exactly to our taste.
